Trust U2 are in GR8 spirits.
Yes we did visit the place -- wife, her brother and self.
B-I-L stayed for one night -- he was impressed.
We stayed for 2 nights.
The food is superb -- one can choose one's food (give Ur choice) with a day's notice.
The staff are ever-friendly and ever-smiling -- pleasure to interact with them.
The rooms are GOOD -- we've paid the Advance for a SUPER DELUXE SUITE.
The REFUNDABLE cost for this suite (has 2 rooms and 2 balconies) is 14L (for two) + the Monthly Maintenance Charge @ 20G per head. This MMC is payable when U actually occupy the place. Flexible payment options are available as well.
The ambiance is GR8.
The truss on the roof is starting -- material in situ.
Once that is over, the Therapy Pool will be coming up.
There are a total of 40 suites as of now, of which 12 are occupied, 8 booked and inquiries coming in.
Most of the inmates have their children abroad and the Cochin International Airport is only 20 kms away.
A Super Specialty Hospital is very close to the Airport.
Ambulance is available nearby on call.
They plan to expand and have an Annexe with a sky-bridge connecting the 2 buildings.
The weather is good and the place is located in the middle of rubber & Teak plantations.
Nights were chilly and we had to keep the A/c off -- all rooms are A/c'd.
All-in-all a place worth a look at, where one could spend one's sunset years in peace.
We were charmed by the place -- had driven down from Cochin which is 57 kms away, by the NH.
Did NOT have to pay for the 2+1 nights we 3 spent over there.
I'm totally impressed with the place.
The resident doctor is a very fine man. A Mos' who studied in Trichy under the foreign Jesuit Priests
